Breaking the silence

In the wake of a 3 year silence, I want to start telling the world what is in my work. I have re-titled some of my pieces that boldly speak what emotion and thought sometimes cannot express. My art is a labour of love, drawn only from the truths I hold in my heart, that rarely I trust to words.

To summarize several of the most significant pieces on this site:

~ The graphite still life, titled “Survival” and “Life Story” is full of symbols representing different aspects of the tragedy of failed marriage at a time when a baby is still so small.

~ “Agony” relates the intense emotion felt at a time where helplessness, pain and confusion reigns.

~ “Torn” is a picture about bad timing and the wrenching emotion that can often accompany situations involving love.

~ “Family” is a very restrained take on the interaction between members of a family. A slight turn is a nod towards consideration of the others.

Prices will vary according to the type of print or original you wish to purchase. Trompe l’oeil or murals are $20 / hour. I do need to have surfaces clean and ready for paint application. The more we can talk about your ideas and preferences, the better! I enjoy visiting about the progress as well, so I know if what I’m doing is to your liking or if you might have some more ideas.

When asking about an artwork, trompe l’oeil, or photograph, please reference it by its title. Depending on the size and type of print you wish to have, your order may take anywhere from 7 - 14 days to process. Please allow time for shipping as well. Shipping costs will be added to the total amount.
